The Snakerun Method Contest: An Ode To The Old Men of WUSR and Those Soon To Be from Sofa King New England on Vimeo.

The Red Bull Snake Run is a special event at an even more special mountain in New Hampshire. It was here last season that a few select has-beens created the social club that is Washed Up Still Riding. This first event of the WUSR tour allowed today’s youth to ride along with yesterday’s greats in top fashion. The elders soon started putting on their best Terje method impressions at the top of the run. It didn’t take long before their backs gave out and each started complaining about having to hike the long, winding course. Once they started checking their Blackberries for new emails we called it quits. During awards Tyler Davis was crowned king of the old guys and probably could have taken top honors in the open division as well. It was atop the podium that Tyler decided to carry on what is now one of the greatest Snake Run traditions, chugging a bottle of Tide laundry detergent.

Thanks to Jeremy Reid and Adam Metterville for putting this together!
