Mammoth WCI Rail Jam Photo Gallery 2011

Mammoth Mountain hosted the 10th Annual West Coast Invitational rail jam in the center village over the weekend. A winner-take-all battle royale, victory and a $10,000 cash finally went to Dylan Alito. Artist and pro rider Jamie Lynn was also on-hand along with host of southern California’s most formiddable snowboarding industry icons. [WATCH EDDIE WALL RIDE VIDEO]

During Session 4 at Windells Camp, the Faction Skis crew traded in the Rocky Mountains for the Cascade range and joined us on Mount Hood for their first ever #TeamTakeover. Rails were slayed and no transition was left unskied in our private lane on the Palmer snow field.

Basti Rittig cemented his name in snowboard history by setting a new world record for the longest rail slide ever completed. The rail was custom built, over a meter high, a single round bar and 84 meters long. A rail so long that the riders’ bases were literally melting, (…)
