New Snowboard Device Claims to Put Brakes On Falls

This new snowboarding brake device from Boarder Kontrol snowboards contends to offer beginners more speed control and turning assistance on the bunny slopes. We think, like our friends at Boardistan, that it would probably just be easier to teach users to turn properly from the outset, yet we will let the beginners be the judge. After watching the video it seems like it could really “take hold” and be a “cash grab” for the makers. Wish we’d thought of it.
