The kid in the video below is shown falling 45 feet to the ground after hanging on from poles 8 to 20. According to the Santa Fe New Mexican newspaper, the kid attempted to chuck a snowball at his friends in the lift in front of him and the momentum caused him to lose balance and slip off the chair

and suffering from “injuries including: concussion, skull fracture, collapsed lung, and a lacerated liver”.

C’mon now, if you’re going to be chucking snowballs, at least have the safety bar down.
