Kid Falls 45+ Feet Off Of Chairlift After Trying to Chuck a Snowball at His Buddies

In the world of action sports today, “safety” is a concern that is becoming more and more of an serious issue. With life-threatening injuries and even deaths tainting our sport, it’s up to those who participate in the lifestyle to be smart about their choices and just use your head. The kid in the video below is shown falling 45 feet to the ground after hanging on from poles 8 to 20. According to the Santa Fe New Mexican newspaper, the kid attempted to chuck a snowball at his friends in the lift in front of him and the momentum caused him to lose balance and slip off the chair

and suffering from “injuries including: concussion, skull fracture, collapsed lung, and a lacerated liver”.

C’mon now, if you’re going to be chucking snowballs, at least have the safety bar down.
