GRETE ELIASSEN SLIDES A RAIL IN TIMES SQUARE

To mark the celebration of ‘100 days out’ from the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, the US team headed to New York for an appearance on The Today Show. The park crew from Park City, Utah packed up a few rails and drove them across the country to set up a makeshift park in the middle of the city. Then professional skier and Olympic team member Grete Eliassen strapped a GoPro to her helmet before she clicked into her skis and slid a rail in the middle of Times Square.
