Out of Frame: Going big with Adrien Bulard

Skateboarding sits somewhere between the mental and physical. More than most activities, the best of the best in skating often have some special spark or X-factor that allows them to do incredible things that us mortals would shy away from…like heelflipping a massive 6 set first try, on a borrowed skateboard.

Adrien Bulard has obsessive-compulsive disorder, which makes him fastidious about ordering, sequencing and structuring the world around him in order to allow him peace within himself. It’s one of the things that makes him unique. It seems this same condition also gives him the focus to go all-in every time he tries a trick.
