DC Snowboarding announces second annual Hit & Run series

February 20, 2017 – (Huntington Beach, Calif.) – Today, DC Snowboarding presents its second annual “Hit & Run” global event series with stops at Mammoth Mountain, Meribel and Whistler Blackcomb. This unique banked slopestyle competition and one-of-a-kind experience will utilize the most natural terrain from slalom-like tight banked and long arching turns to slopestyle jumps, hips and jibs. “Just like last year, the “Hit & Run” event is going to be the best of the season,” said DC’s Global Marketing Director, Bobby Meeks. “It’s an extremely fun and unique contest that offers riders the ability to put all their snowboarding prowess together for one fast and technical run.”

March 23-24, 2017 – Meribel, France
April 1-2, 2017 – Whistler, Blackcomb

The overall goal for participating riders of DC’s “Hit & Run” is to get down the mountain as fast as they can while dropping their best tricks. Each freestyle feature will be judged from a 1-5 rating which then translates to seconds deducted from their time. The rider with the fastest overall score wins, snatching up a cash prizes and “Hit & Run” awards.
