After three years at the Circuit of Americas in Austin, Texas, X Games makes their summer debut in Minneapolis, Minnesota this July.

X Games will bring heart pounding racing action to fans at Mall of America on Thursday, July 13, to kick off the action in Minneapolis.

Joining U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis as a venue for the world’s premiere action sports competition and youth culture experience, Harley-Davidson Flat Track Racing at Mall of America will feature athletes racing high-performance motorcycles in close proximity around an oval track at speeds up to 130 mph.

With the roots of Flat Track Racing dating back to the early 1900s, the sport is one of the most traditional motorcycle racing disciplines.

“We are excited to have Flat Track racing as a moto discipline in the X Games again this year,” said Shaun Melady, Communications Director AMA Pro Flat Track Racing. “Flat Track racing is a moto racing original and features legendary brands of motorsports on the track. To have Flat Track be a premier event at the X Games to begin a week of great competition is something we look forward to showcasing.”
