Ride+ Style

The first ever Red Bull Ride+ Style will take place April 30; the event will include both a track and free style fixed gear competition. And seeing that some of the tracks and obstacles will be designed by urban contemporary artists, it seems only fitting to hold the event in San Francisco, CA.

One artist, Erik Otto was stoked on the idea, "I was initially inspired by the thought of creating large-scale work that could interact with the elements of the event- three-dimensional surfaces, movement of riders and an outdoor setting.

For the freestyle competition, the riders will judged in the following manner:

Riders will be grouped into 5 different hears - 6 riders in each

They will have a 15 minute jam sesh, where the best riders from each heat will advance

The final round will include about 10 riders competing for the title.
