Matt Gleason, Marketing Director for Liquid ForceA company embracing the mantra, "work hard, play hard," Liquid Force provides some of the best wakeboards, wakeskates and overall water accessories on the market. Based in Encinitas, CA, the LF company offices are located a stone's throw from the famous Carlsbad Lagoon.
In an example of things coming full circle, I used to intern at O'Neill for this week's guest, Matt Gleason. Now the Marketing Director for Liquid Force, Matt took a break from riding and was stoked to chat about LF's latest. Enjoy!

The FLX and Watson Hybrid are also new for 2010, featuring hybrid construction, liquid rails, and p-tex bases. These are indestructible rail and cable slaying machines...

Ride for free at LF Free For All events
BNQT - THE 'FREE FOR ALL' SERIES IS ONE OF THE BETTER IDEAS I'VE HEARD IN A WHILE. CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR NEW EVENT SERIES?
Matt - Wakeboarding boats keep getting more expensive, and it turns off a lot of potential entrants into the sport. We want to give every interested participant the chance to ride for free and have fun on the water. We conceptualized Free For All this past winter with our cable park partners, and are coming to a city near you! We'll have new 2010 LF demo boards to ride, you'll get a pass to the cable park, we'll be giving away tons of goodies from our sponsors, and you'll be able to hang with your favorite Liquid Force pros...all for free! Matt - We are so lucky to have such an amazing team of athletes on the LF roster. Our crew is so versatile, and we want to make the best products possible for whatever type of riding they are into... Just as you in surfing, you'll eventually see everyone have a quiver of boards that suit their different styles of riding a board for the boat, a board for the cable/rails, etc.
