Vans delivers Gilbert Crockett’s signature skate apparel collection

Costa Mesa, CALIF. (October 12, 2017) – This October, Vans presents a brand new signature apparel collection from global skate team rider Gilbert Crockett. Known for his distinct skate style and affinity for all things vintage, Crockett’s signature apparel collection is inspired by Americana classics, featuring baseball wovens, collared short sleeves, applique felt detailing and a roomier canvas chino pant reflective of Gilbert’s inimitable personal style. Crockett also integrated design influence from fellow compatriots, Quasi Skateboards, a premium skateboard deck brand he co-founded in 2015.

The signature Gilbert Crockett collection offers three classic men’s silhouettes, including the GC Contrast crewneck in black and white, the GC Henley Woven, a cotton twill traditional polo shirt with a felt applique “V” on the chest pocket, and two colorways of the GC Chino pant. Perhaps Crockett’s most defining style piece in the capsule, the GC Chino Pant features a roomier 18” pant opening and self drawcord, available this season in a 10oz. duck canvas.

Crockett has long since been contributing to the progression of Vans’ performance skate shoes, lending his functional design eye to two signature pro models, the Crockett Pro and Crockett Pro Mid, and playing a critical role in the development of Vans’ innovative Wafflecup technology. This season’s Gilbert Crockett signature apparel collection will be complemented by four new colorways of his main pro model, the Crockett Pro 2.

Gilbert Crockett’s signature apparel offering is available now at Vans retailers worldwide. Visit to find an authorized dealer near you.
