‘Holy moly!’ That’s a lot of elk crossing road

A migrating elk herd created quite a roadblock for motorists in Banff, Alberta, Canada, last week.

The elk herd was crossing Mt. Norquay Road near the Banff train station when Anita Lakra captured video of the amazing sight. She subsequently sent it in to CBC Vancouver, which posted it on Facebook.

“Holy moly,” one passenger can be heard saying. “Oh my God, that’s amazing.”

“It’s a parade,” another said.

“There’s a whole bunch. They keep coming.”

Quipped CBC Vancouver, “Talk about a Rocky Mountain roadblock.”
