Amid bothersome winds, Porta Potty video brings comic relief

Strong and bothersome winds have been sweeping across parts of the West, and folks are finding comic relief in the form of a video that originated Tuesday in Berthoud, Colo.

The footage shows swaying branches and a street that’s deserted except for a portable outhouse being blown down the roadway.

The video had garnered 1.2 million views on the News 9 Facebook page at the time of this post. Among the top comments:

– “Really went low budget for the new season of Doctor Who.”

– “If it tips over in someone’s yard at least they get free fertilizer.”

– “You got it wrong. The porta-potty manufacturers are planning on entering into direct competition against those Smart cars. That’s a prototype.”

It was not clear if anyone was inside the Porta Potty, hanging on for dear life.
