The 2018 edition of the Margaret River Pro will long be remembered as the event that never was. After two rounds of men’s competition, and with the ladies making it to the quarter finals, a pair of shark attacks a short drive up the coast saw competition abandoned, with points and prize money split between those still standing in the draw.
