Nobody in the action sports community has ever said, by stylish and drive an electric car.

As an action/adventure sports enthusiast, the amount of gear or trailer hauling needed to make a day of fun occur, a small environmentally friendly car isn’t always going to get you there.

But what if you could have the power of the SUV you need, along with zero emissions?

Introducing the Jaguar I-PACE, making a statement in style and shows your commitment to keeping Mother Earth clean so we can ski, board, ride, climb and more for centuries to come.

We can all do our part to help the environment no matter what sport you do. While tennis is not known as an extreme sport, the message of driving with smart style is on full display with Andy Murray.

With the U.S. Open of Tennis being played in New York City this week, Murray discussed his promise to going all electric and making that commitment stick by driving the Jaguar I-PACE. Murray made this pledge last March, during Earth Hour, as part of his involvement with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

“It’s important we all take small steps to live a more sustainable life and think about the actions we can make to look after our planet,” said Murray. “This is one of the reasons I’m making the switch to driving Jaguar’s new all-electric I-PACE. It’s clean and safe, but also has the world class design and sports performance that suits my lifestyle.”

Having driven the Jaguar I-PACE, the performance needed to sustain a day of adventure is there along with making a statement is class and style with the design of the car. Murray echoed similar sentiments.

“The I-PACE is extremely quick and unbelievably smooth when you accelerate,” said Murray. “Unlike standard combustion engines, you go from no power to all power once you hit the accelerator. It is quite different and quite unique. The stereotype of what electric cars are versus what the I-PACE is, are so vastly different. It breaks the mold. It is quite unexpected.”

Progression and breaking the standard mold is the corner piece of what action/adventure sports are built on.

Supporting the commitment Murray made to switch to Jaguar’s first all-electric performance SUV in March this year, Panasonic Jaguar Racing driver and fellow WWF ambassador, Nelson Piquet Jr, visited the British tennis star at his training camp to make the delivery.

The Jaguar I-PACE is a ground-breaking electric vehicle with rapid charging from 0-80 per cent in 45 minutes and offers a range of up to 298 miles on a single charge. The I-PACE delivers sustainable sports car performance, next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) technology and five-seat SUV practicality to place Jaguar at the forefront of the electric vehicle revolution.
